What better way is there to earn awesome husband points than gifting your wife a portrait session for her much loved dog for her birthday? None, there is no better way!

Stella the English Pointer used to be a champion show dog. When her breeder decided to retire she made sure she found Stella the very best family to go and live with. We met a few weeks ago at her favourite park in North Sydney.

While posing for cheese was ok, it certainly was no match for getting to run around like a goofball.

Some headshots that were made possible with the aforementioned cheese! Isn’t she just gorgeous?

Running was fun but you know what’s even more fun, trying to climb trees to get to the birds! I’m not sure that’s exactly what she was bred to do but close enough, Stella. It made her pretty happy so we just went with it.

As the sun went down we did some more posed shots with the off-camera lighting. Some people we very interested in what was happening and waited until we were finished to ask if Stella is famous. That always makes me chuckle. Well I guess she is famous now she’s the star of this whole blog post!
